Hailing from Seattle, the one-man band known as The Royal Firecrackers delivers on its self-proclaimed agenda of writing upbeat rock anthems with its latest single, “Subliminal Rituals.” It’s energetic, infectious, and keeps you hooked right through to the final digitally delayed guitar chord.

The introduction is built around a melodic guitar riff that keeps us grounded while we adjust our ears to the tidal wave of sound. The drums feel big, the bass is understated while providing body, and the vocals fit very snugly within the instrumentation – they blend so naturally with the rest of the arrangement that they almost sound fused with the guitars.
